From Toulouse a large bustling metropolitan city D2 (northwest) to Grenade. You might put this town in your sat nav to get the right direction out of the airport (Don’t go towards Toulouse!) At Grenade take the D3 to Beaumont-de-Lomagne (Town with central market square and summer fetes) and onward to Lavit small market town busier on market days. At Lavit take the D15 towards St Clar our nearest town. The garlic capital of France. A schools museum and local market on Thursdays. Medieval market square. At Montgaillard turn left to St Martin. At the church in St Martin continue 100 meters just past the Chateau. At end of its wall there is a 2 track drive on the right with a sign A’ Pedebouc. The house is at the end of the track. (Distance from the Airport circa 40 km)

From the A62 Peage # 8 go south on D953 which becomes the D40. Follow signs to Gramont home of a chateaux, a honey museum (Buy your own honey) a pretty church and a fabulous local restaurant, La Feuillette or St Clar. Just before St Clar (on the hill on the right with grave yard in view) turn left onto the D11. A mile or so on, turn left to Mauroux ( stunning little local church, the mayor is in the village on Thursday afternoons and has the key, go through Mauroux, up the hill bending to the right and past the church. Continue for 1 km when the road bends left up a hill and then bends right. Near the top there is a Chateau on the left. There is a 2 track lane just before the Chateau wall starts which leads to the House. The Lane is signed A’ Pedebouc. Distance from Peage 8 circa 20km
